The cast iron skillet from BBQ-Toro is the perfect addition to your outdoor kitchen, whether you're camping or barbecuing. It's ideal for steaks and other grilled dishes. Tip: Try serving your food directly from the skillet. Your guests will be delighted.

The cast iron frying pan is heat-resistant and therefore ideally suited for the refrigerator, oven, and grill. The cast iron grill pan is compatible with almost all gas, electric, and induction cooktops, as well as those used directly over an open fire or on a grill.

Thanks to the practical spouts, liquids can be poured easily from the pan. The opening above the handle allows for simple and space-saving hanging of the pan.

The cast iron pan is already seasoned and ready to use. Instructions for use and care are included should re-seasoning be necessary.

After use, the pan should cool completely and then any larger food residues should be removed with hot water. Never use soap or harsh cleaning agents. After cleaning, the pan must be thoroughly dried and oiled.

Information on burning in
These cast iron pots from BBQ-Toro are pre-seasoned and ready to use. If re-seasoning is necessary: ​​Clean the pots with hot water. Then rub them with neutral-tasting vegetable oil (e.g., coconut oil). Place the pots upside down in the oven at 200°C (or better yet, outside in a hot charcoal grill) for one hour. Rub in any remaining oil. Done. Repeat this process regularly to fill the pores and optimally protect the cast iron pots from rust.

Information on cleaning/maintenance
Hot water is sufficient for cleaning – scrub off larger food residues with a brush. Never use soap or harsh detergents. These will destroy the seasoning layer, and the pots will then need to be re-seasoned (see above). Do not store food scraps in the pots. Remove ash immediately after use, as it promotes rust when combined with moisture.

Information on storage
Grease the pots with good cooking oil and place a piece of kitchen paper between the lid and the pot. This way, the pots will easily withstand even longer storage periods.
