The BBQ-Toro saucepan with lid is the ideal addition to your outdoor kitchen, perfect for camping or barbecues. A small saucepan with a lid is a must-have in every kitchen. This saucepan is perfect for smaller portions, soups, or even as a saucepan.

Thanks to its high mass (cast iron), the casserole regulates uneven heat, ensuring even cooking. Simply place glowing coals, embers, or grill briquettes on the lid and under the pot, and you're ready to go.

Weighing approximately 2.75 kg, the casserole dish is always stable. The 15 cm long handle ensures a secure grip on the cast iron casserole. Side spouts allow for clean and controlled pouring.

This small pot is heat-resistant and therefore ideal for use in the refrigerator, oven, and on the grill. The cast iron pot comes with a lid and handle – essential for braising or reducing.

The saucepan with lid is already seasoned and ready for immediate use. The cast iron pot can also be placed directly into the fire or onto hot embers.


Information on burning in
This cast iron pot from BBQ-Toro is already seasoned and ready to use. If re-seasoning is necessary after cleaning, simply clean the pot with hot water. Then rub it with a neutral-tasting vegetable oil (e.g., coconut oil). Place the pot upside down in the oven at 200°C (or better yet, outside on a hot charcoal grill) for one hour. Rub in any remaining oil. That's it! Repeat this process regularly to fill the pores and ensure optimal rust protection.

Information on cleaning/maintenance
Hot water is sufficient for cleaning – scrub off larger food residues with a brush. Never use soap or harsh detergents. These will destroy the seasoning layer, and the pot will then need to be re-seasoned (see above). Do not store leftover food in the roaster. Remove ash from the lid and pot immediately after use, as it promotes rust when combined with moisture.

Information on storage
Grease with good cooking oil, place a sheet of kitchen paper inside, and leave the lid slightly ajar. This way, the roasting pan will easily withstand even longer storage periods.
